13. Tests of miscellaneous genes with chromosome 1 markers. - Six genes, not previously linked, have been tested with several loci of chromosome 1. On the next page are shown the number of individuals and per cent of recombination in each F2 test.

These tests, though mostly quite inadequate, are suggestive of one and perhaps two linkages (Relatively little seed was obtained from the Florida plantings last spring; adequate material is available for tests next summer.) Suggestion of linkage of ms43 with either sr or an is probably of no significance because of the great deficiency of ms43 in the one instance and of an in the other. There were few yg3 plants in the test with sr. It seems likely that v19 may be linked with bm2.The F2 distribution was 42-25-21-0.
