These data do not agree completely with the present accepted location of br and f₁. On the basis of these data Kn is located closer to br than to f₁ but it must be between f₁ and bm₂. After more extensive tests in 1937 the writer is doubtful that homozygous knotted plants can be distinguished from the heterozygous plants.
