Dwarf1 (d1) allelomorphs
The following series of allelomorphs exist for the d1 locus:
- d1 as described by Emerson.
- d1s semi-dwarf-andromonoecious 50% height of normals.
- d1m approaching monoecious condition 60-65% height of normal sibs.
- D1 normal height.
The d1s and d1m allelomorphs are dominant to d1 and recessive to normal. The three dwarf allelomorphs have different origins:
- d1 from Emerson, d1s from Brink (= Brink's d5) and d1m from Beadle.
