7. Dull brown blotches (dl) appeared in the endosperm of one of our y su Country Gentleman inbreds. This behaves as a recessive character. Dull blotched seeds when planted produce sterile dwarf plants, about 2 feet high, with no tassel or ear. Non-blotched seeds produce normal plants.
